This A/FX-tribute Falcon represents Mike Thomas’s first foray into race cars—and what a debut it is. This clean build features notched shock towers in the period style and was done by fabricator Dale Snoke. This adjustment permitted Mike to shoehorn a legendary 427-cu.in. High Riser V-8, à la the “Fairlane Thunderbolts”. Snoke also handled other required fabrication, such as filling the cowl vent, and moving the front edge of the rear wheel arch forward to clear some meatier rear tires. Rounding off the build and keeping the transmission cool is a Derale 25 Row Series 10000 Stack Plate Cooler.
